Even though Erlang is easy to learn, attending professional training can substantially reduce both your cost and time getting up to speed. Erlang/OTP Profes-sional Services by Sjöland&Thyselius can provide a variety of training, ranging from programming courses for developers to literacy courses for testers and installation staff.

Choose from one of the regular courses listed to the right, or ask us for tailored training to meet your specific needs. Our courses teaches many of the topics (except Erlang/OTP for managers) relying heavily on hands-on training. Lectures are mixed with exercises through-out the entire course, making it never lose pace or become sleepy.

Training can be given either in our own training facilities in Stockholm or at customer premises world-wide. All training is conducted by experienced trainers with long real-life Erlang/OTP experience.

The following courses are given on a regular basis

• 5-days Basic+ first part of Continued Erlang. Covers the most important aspects of the programming language Erlang.
• 5-days Erlang/OTP including second part of continued Erlang. Covers the "mysteries" of the OTP-framework.
• 1-day CORBA for Erlang/OTP.
  Covers the usage of the ORBER application.
• 1/2-day Erlang/OTP for managers. An explanation to how Erlang/OTP works. Only general software development knowledge required.
• 5-day Erlang Litteracy course. Learn to understand Erlang-code. Ideal for testers and installation staff.
• 1-day debugging/tracing seminar. Learn more about available tools and methods.
